"This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. "This is an amazing property run by amazing and friendly staff. The rooms themselves are unusual and special in design, with an outside (but private) bathroom which is unlike anything else. The pool is nice and the area is surrounded by trees where monkeys jump around and entertain you, but we had no issues with them as they are the shy kind! Would definitely recommend and is great for visits to Galle and Dakata beach which is excellent for surfing. "
