8/10 Good
"My first impression was this might be the best hotel in the Black Hills, but then little things started to add up to make me change my mind. First, try to get a room on the ground floor, especially if you have a pet. Our room had a doorway from the parking lot, and another door on the opposite side of the room that opened into the main hallway. It was really convenient to have multiple ways to access the room. Plus the beds were really comfortable. But then a few little things decreased my opinion. My toilet seat was really loose, to the point I couldn't really use it. There was a table in my room, but it was so squished against the bed I couldn't comfortably sit there to eat or work. The parking lot is pretty small for the property. We got back late one night and there wasn't a single empty parking spot. We ended up parking across the street. Lastly, the breakfast was subpar. The best thing I ate there was a dry biscuit. The scramble eggs were terrible, most likely fake eggs. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was mostly water. I might stay here again, but I'd look around a bit more first."

"After a very poor check-in with the printer not working and the refrigerator not turned on before we got their, the staff performed superbly to quickly correct these issues. Also want to note that the breakfast was excellent with hot omelets and waffles plus many muffins, cereal and juices available."
