Nice area, room was clean and spacious but needs an update. Staiway and deck needs serious painting. Cute restaurant nearby was a plus! Front desk ladies were wonderful! Enjoyed decor in lobby! Great location for all nearby attractions!

Large comfortable room. Can request just the room service items one wants without having the whole room serviced. Nice quiet woodsy neighborhood close to town but not in it.

The property is very charming and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and we appreciated the balcony and the indoor hot tub. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The only reason I deducted 1 star is that the room service is on an as requested basis vs everyday and they do not allow checkin after 10pm, but at the price point I am happy to overlook it. I will stay with them again if I visit Custer again.

Quirky property - in a good way. Recently updated, comfy features, nice staff, indoor pool and hot tub, great little place for coffee on site. Close to town, but right on the main road so a little road noise. Overall, pleased!

We've driven by during the bike rally hundreds of time and always thought it was a cute, quaint place. Staying there was a pleasure. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating. The decor is charming and quaint. There are 2 pools, a hot tub, patios, pickleball, basketball, board games to play, and table video games on free play. The cookies & milk happy hour daily is wonderful. We will be back.

Nice room, with everything u need. Give the cafe a miss, food was not great. Conviently located near Crazy Horse and Mt Rushmore. Loved the theme of the room and overall vibe. Highly recommend. Great off season rates!

Beautiful attention to detail and cozy rooms
This was such a wonderful vacation and a beautiful room. The facilities are so well kept for their age. Our room was very spacious and the bed was excellent! The attention to details and great care of the facility showed in this wonderful site and in the rooms.The staff was also very kind and helpful with all of our questions. We will defenitely go back to this inn for another vacation.

We travel a LOT, and honestly, this is the BEST hotel we have EVER stayed! We stayed here 3 nights. Every staff member, from check in, maintenance, housekeeping, the restaurant, were wonderful! So friendly and definitely customer oriented! They GENUINELY CARED about our stay and went the extra mile to make our stay the best! Here are a few examples: loaning me an umbrella, bringing in a fan at our request, troubleshooting TV remote until they found a solution, free use of washers and soap, custom made delicious pastries MADE JUST FOR US when we were disappointed they were out! WOW! We were told they only hire people who love helping people, and IT SHOWS! May sound strange, but we actually just felt a tangible happiness being there! Rooms were clean, big, comfy. Easy car access. WE WILL BE BACK! THANK YOU!!

Great little gem!!
What a great place to stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable! The bed was amazing! Our check in was very quick and the young man you checked us in gave great customer service! Will stay here again!!!

This was one of the cutest places that we've ever stayed in. The people were so welcoming and nice, it just added to the charm of the inn. This was a perfect location to visit Custer State Park and Crazy Horse. The room is dated, but very clean. I would stay here and recommend it to everyone. Absolute 10!!!

What a delightful hotel! Easily book, conveniently located just outside Custer, close to restaurants in town, yet the best breakfast in the area right on the premises. The staff is warm, friendly, and informative. The rooms very clean and comfortable. Parking is available in front of the rooms. Very nice place, with character, cleanliness, and comfort.

Property has personality with beautiful area for walking & enjoying area’s natural beauty. Front desk staff was incredibly welcoming & helpful. Our room was quite small but for one night was fine; we were in Custer to get out & enjoy all the area offers.

Overall, it was a nice place to stay and convenient to Custer and Black Hills. The rooms were very nice, and the staff was nice. However, they did not service the rooms for the four nights we were there. They did not provide towels unless you went to the front desk. They did not take the trash out of your room, you had to do that yourself. and they advertise this as breakfast included, in their advertising, they suggested they were a bed-and-breakfast. You had to go next-door to the Bavarian restaurant and pay for it! Also, our room was on the second floor, and the stair well on the outside bottom was not lit at all at night. When you’re leaving your room on the second floor, and you go to the stairwell, the top is lit well, but when you go to the lower staircase, it is seems to be pitch black when you go from a lit area to a dark area. I missed the bottom step, twisted my ankle, and fell, hurting my back and ankle. Maintenance of that stairwell area adjacent to room 201 needs to install better lighting on the second floor stairwells at the bottom!

Almost perfect.
Everything was fantastic. Good rate. Lovely staff. Beautiful comfortable room. Only improvement would be a straight chair or folding chair to sit at the desk area beside the sink to use a computer. The easy chair was comfortable, but inconvenient to move.

This places oozes joy. There for two days as we enjoyed a two week road trip. You can tell there is a lot of thought and love for every aspect of the property. We played pickleball with the provided equipment, connect four out on the deck, and cards in the wonderful lobby. My only regret was that we had to leave. Would recommend this place for sure.

The front office staff was so friendly and welcoming. Nick and Sassy (that was the nickname she gave) were very welcoming and made the experience so positive. The room was very quaint and just what we needed for a last minute overnight stay. The Feel Good Cafe was delicious. Highly recommend.
