The COVID-19 outbreak has changed how we travel, but it hasn't halted our love of exploring. Here are some tips on how to deal with travel's new challenges:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking your flight. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
• When you pass through airport screening, do not remove your face mask. You will be asked to briefly lower it for identification purposes. Travelers who refuse to wear a mask may face civil penalties and may also be denied boarding.
• To avoid cross-contamination, place your boarding pass on the reader yourself and then hold it up for inspection. Do not hand your boarding pass directly to a TSA officer.
