"We had a lovely room at the top which was very warm and cosy. Staff were friendly and very polite. Unfortunately for us the hotel was understaffed as the two girls working seemed to be run off their feet, having to run the bar and the restaurant, which they managed very well and I applaud them. My booking confirmation said we get a free breakfast but on check in we’re told it was room only but breakfast if we wanted it would be served between 9 and 9.30 which seems late and a short service."
