「This was our second stay at this lovely hotel fascinating building which is impressive. Attention to detail at every level, we ate at the restaurant for two nights food was excellent as was the breakfast. The rooms are tasteful well appointed, comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Without exception every member of staff were friendly, attentive, polite and made us feel relaxed. Thank you for a very enjoyable experience I strongly recommend this hotel.」

「Everything apart from one exception was either excellent or very good. The only drawback was the internet connection in our room was virtually non-existent. 」

Very tranquil location so the town isn't really walkable unless you are super fit although only minutes from town in a car. But the hotel more than made up for that. 「Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍」
