「We received a really warm welcome and were given beautiful, immaculately clean and warm room. The restaurant staff were super attentive and dinner and breakfast were delicious. I would 100% recommend this place.」

「This was our first time back in over a year since under new management. We had the most lovely breakfast hamper in our room of yogurts , fruit ,museli , fresh milk , honey with tea coffee chocolate & juices. This was so much better for us personally as did not have to rush up to go down to breakfast in the morning giving us a much more relaxed approach to the day ahead . It was replenished if you put your sign on door next morning. I much preferred the layout of the bar area tables & chairs...

「Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. Took coffee bags with us as no coffee maker, as per previous reviews. Power shower was pretty weak but sufficed. Very small...

「The property was not that clean. Cobwebs on most curtains and in other areas. Its sleeps 5 people but only enough crockery for 4 and half of the plates had cracks. ( i do have photos). Over all a disappointment.」

「The room was lovely and clean. The staff very friendly and the food was very good. Did have a slight issue with the bath, the water while showering didn't go down the drain.l」

「A lovely little find, perfectly located for a trip on The Broads, or sitting watching the boats and wildlife. Great sized rooms. Excellent choice of breakfast freshly cooked. Enjoyed a couple of evening meals on site. Staff go above a beyond and are icing on the cake at this lovely old hotel. 」

「We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. 」
