「First, you can't check in till 5pm. Second, the shower is small and slippery when wet. When I mentioned that I'd nearly fallen twice and it needed a non-slip mat, I was told can't be done as this would be an admission that there is a problem. 「We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.」

Usual gripe that in a family room for 4, they only give you two of everything (cups, bath towels), and that the pub is expensive (£4.20 for a soft drink, £7 for a beer etc), so the savings are offset at dinner.」
