The hotel was ok in general, however my room at the back of the hotel wasn’t well cleaned. It had an outside door, and dirty boots had left bits on the carpet. My room had no towels and no toilet paper. You’d almost think they’d forgotten to service it. The staff addressed the issues promptly when asked. The hotel served my purposes, but wasn’t great.

"Room was very nice and staff friendly and helpful. Food service was good, there was a few items not available from the menu but we were a the last end on service. Food we had was OK , traditional gastro food. I would stay here again."

"Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar ..."
