「We loved staying at the Royal Oak . Would go again. Wonderful Sunday lunch. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Only thing’s needs to be worked on , Our lovely modern room had nowhere to sit & dry your hair .. Only needs a mirror . No draws to put cloths in , only four coat hangers . No shower gel or shampoo. Just a bit of hand gel at the bottom of a dispenser. Just things you tend to expect. The pub is well situated, locals very friendly. Lots of things to do in the area.」

「We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean.
The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable.」
