"Newly refurbished hotel. Setting standards for others to follow not only in quality of room but also service. A couple of hiccups but all covered well. Will definitely return here on my next trip! "

"Room was clean bed comfortable nice fluffy towels parking was good wi fi was good we had 2 teabags in the room for 2 night stay when we asked for more was offered 2 only had to ask could we have 2 more some staff were friendly others a bit miserable. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful location by Rutland Water and there is easy access to a lovely walk beside the lake. Our room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and we had a large bathroom with good quality towels and toiletries. However, the lighting in the room was very dim and this was not helped by the fact that the window looked out onto a wall. That said, breakfast was very good and there is ample parking. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area."
