「Great stay. Perfect」

「Lovely old building and themed rooms. We were allocated the China room as we told the hotel ahead of time we were celebrating our Sapphire wedding anniversary so it was lovely that it was all blue. My only criticism was that in hindsight, it was a very expensive hotel with no reception, no spa (we booked into the orange grove for treatments but assumed it was a proper spa with swimming pool only to find it was just rooms adjacent to the hotel.) £210 per night was a tad over the top just for a...

「A really lovely stay at the Honingham Buck. The room was spacious, a comfortable superking bed, coffee/tea, TV, and a small private patio. The bathroom was spotless and had everything we needed. Every member of the staff team was friendly and very helpful. A good choice of breakfasts and a great menu in the restaurant. A great find - well recommended!」

Because the hotel was closed for refurbishment - and EXPEDIA failed to notify us prior to travelling - and also EXPEDIA refused to share our phone number with the hotel so they were unable to inform us in advance of our arrival - fortunately the hotel staff were able to assist us in gettinga ccomodation nearby. 「I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!」

「Stayed one night Friday to Saturday last day before the schools break up, so got a very reasonably priced room, which turned out to be a large room on 1st floor with Super King sized bed, so very comfortable stay. :) Ensuite bathroom spacious. Lift available to the first floor. Saw nice looking gym on ground floor and nice lounge area. Can't comment on breakfast as we did not have it.」

「The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog」

「Very individual inn with amazing restaurant facilities and a good choice of beers! Slight downside was the fact that our room just had Velux windows which didn't open and it was a bit stifling at night. There were no other windows except for a small one in the ensuite. We were late in booking so at least we had a lovely clean room! Bed was very comfy. Overall: would we go back there? Yes, certainly!!」

「Wifi didn’t work anywhere in the rooms. There is otherwise no cell service on the property. The amenities were closed for all 3 days of the stay as they were booked for training (this should be made known upon booking if you advertise as a spa) and the staff was useless. Staff did not make us aware on check in that in order to get the rooms refreshed the next morning the guests have to call before 10 am. Would not stay here- complete mess of a hotel.」

「We had an amazing stay here and would definitely recommend! We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade on our room and it was beautifully decorated. They were friendly at check in and took us to our room, leaving us some shortbread biscuits. Breakfast in the Grain store was amazing, we also had dinner there.」
