"Loved our recent stay at the Bar Harbor Manor. The room was clean, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. The Manor grounds were well maintained with the most beautiful gardens surrounding each building. The location was great with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. At the front desk, Christopher was extremely helpful in getting us set up with nice room for our stay and also very knowledgeable of navigating Acadia national park and offered ideas of area attractions and good restaurants for dinner. The grab and go breakfast was perfect. All the staff on site were courteous. I hope to visit again. I would recommend a stay at the Bar Harbor Manor."

"Friends and I came for a weekend in Bar Harbor/Acadia, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Parking was not an issue even though we checked in late on a Friday night, mainly because staff gave us permission to 'create' a spot (in fairness there was enough space to do so!); the rest of our stay, parking was truly not an issue, as we always found an open spot. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Being on-the-go vacationers, we really appreciated the free continental breakfast and all day snack bar that set us up right for the rest of the day. Our double queen room was clean, air-conditioned, and spacious enough for 3 adults. We also found all of the main sights downtown to be within a comfortable 15-20 minute walk. We'd gladly return here in the future!"

"Our stay was just right. The Anchorage Motel isn’t fancy and that’s ok. We were looking for reasonably priced accommodations within walking distance to the Bar Harbor shops and attractions. Hot coffee was available each morning and even at 3:45am when we headed to Cadillac mountain for sunrise. The motel was clean, safe and provided the basics. We didn’t intend on spending time in our room other than sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the shower amenities were enough. We would stay again."

Wonder View Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

"The location was great. You could walk to Bar Harbor or take the island explorer to avoid paying for parking downtown. Note that taking the island explorer back from downtown takes longer (5 min there, 20 min back) because Wonder View is the last stop. The room was clean and we had a ton of space in a corner room with two queens and a wraparound balcony. The indoor pool was a nice surprise. The outdoor pool was beautiful but it was cold and the weather wasn’t super hot so we only enjoyed it briefly. Check in and out was super easy, the staff was helpful and friendly."
