"Great hotel. Immaculate room, great choice at breakfast, pools were lovely and the bar staff and selection were great. Views over the trees to the coast were exceptional and great for spotting toucans and passing monkeys. Hotel is on a steep hill and golf buggy lifts up and down are available if mobility is a challenge. We had a great massage in the spa and the desk for tours ecetera was really helpful. On site restaurant is good. The main village is a taxi ride away for more choice. (Steep road and no pavement make walking a bad choice). We LOVED being so close to the small beach (which dissapears at high tide!). Gorgeous walk down, beautiful small sandy beach and warm waters for swimming. We were in a an 'interior' view room (for budget reasons) which felt quite overlooked by the road and the shop, so pay a bit more for privacy. There was also no comfy seating in the room (no room with the two double beds) . A more expensive room would probably have better seating options - especially those with balconies."

"We booked 4 nights at La Mariposa Hotel, but after staying only 1 night, we decided to leave because we were very disappointed with the hotel, the room condition (hair in the bathroom, no hot water and full of insects), and the overall maintenance. We tried several times to contact the hotel and explain our concerns, hoping they would at least try to help or compensate us for the 3 nights we didn’t stay, but nobody really handled our complaints properly. The staff and management were rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. During one of the conversations, we were even told that they “know everybody in Costa Rica” and that we wouldn’t be able to find another hotel room, which made the situation feel very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Very disappointing experience overall."

"Spent 3 nights here and it was great. I like nature and that’s one of the reasons that I chose this place, it’s nestles in a variety of beautiful plants and trees with lots of quiet outdoor spaces to sit and relax in nature. The pool is beautiful, restaurant and food was great. Staff was also helpful and friendly, hello front desk. 😊 Pura Vida."

"El hotel Naoz fue más de lo que esperaba. Todo maravilloso, el personal de recepción, barra y cocina muy amables en todo momento. Además algo que marcó mi experiencia fue la ayuda que recibí de parte de Helen y Dixiana en recepción quienes me ayudaron a organizar actividades en la zona haciendo mi estadía una muy divertida. El desayuno diario fue muy agradable con unas 4 o 5 opciones a escoger y muy reconfortante para iniciar el día. La piscina estaba a buena temperatura y los alrededores se veían bonitos. Hay un bar y menú de cocina que también aproveché y disfruté. Los recomiendo."
