"Great location, friendly staff, great value. The room was clean, there was a bit of shotty craftsmanship around the room. On the upside some of the things look to have been recently updated, like the floor and vanity. The towels were either brand new or exceptionally clean. I would stay there again. Thank you"

"This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "
