"Sq footage was good for the deluxe king. Relatively clean, but housekeeping needs to be more thorough with the bathroom. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash should be screwed to the rear of the shower and not glued to the side. Lacking a refrigerator, microwave, and airport shuttle. The staff were very friendly and the stay was a very good value otherwise."

"You can feel the history of San Francisco in this fine hotel. They handsomely display it throughout the hotel and between that, great rooms, views, amenities and service plus the Tonga Room, it makes for a memorable stay!"

"Hotel was great, really nice, clean and well kept. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The location was great, really close to all of the places you want to be close to in San Francisco, some what centralized. It was on the same block as the entrance gates to Chinatown. One plus is if you are looking to bring back souvenirs at really (and I mean really) great prices this is the hotel to stay at. The shops are on the same street as the Grant Plaza Hotel starting on the next block across the street. My one and only issue was that the bed was not a soft bed. It could have been a little softer."
