「The room was clean and comfortable even though it was tiny. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building is very charming. We didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant on site but we did order drinks at the bar and enjoyed them on the patio which was lovely. The only negative thing I have to say is that the entire building has an odor that is very off putting. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.」

「I loved that our dog stayed for free (no matter what size). Everything you needed for a pleasant stay. Enjoyed the extra large shower. Located right off the highway, but getting in and out was difficult.」

「This place was horrible. It’s so old and outdated it needs to be renovated. Our room specifically was not great. The tv didn’t work. We didn’t figure that out until after lobby closed. We had to lift the bathroom door slightly up to get it to close, one of our blankets has a visible hole in it. The ac unit was not great. We had to crank it all the way low then it started making the lights in our room flicker. The bathtub was disgusting old and need replacing. The bed was old and needed replacing...

「Getting out of the car there were cigarette butts all over the parking lot where the staff would go out and smoke and throw them down, The hotel immediately stunk like dog when you walk in. (I didn’t know it was a pet friendly hotel before booking) The elevator didn’t work properly, took you 10 tries just to get the door shut. They masked the smell of dog with cheap wall fragrances that gagged you bc it was too strong, the floors looked like they haven’t been swept or mopped since the place...

Our room was beautiful and very close to the indoor pool and hot tub and also the dining room which had a great buffet breakfast! I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this establishment! The Hotel Grand Victorian is a beautiful place to stay!」
