"The service and people at this hotel were fantastic. Parking is plentiful and is easy to find on Google Maps. The hotel is situated on the mountain and when traveling from the north the road up the mountain was very narrow and a little bit of a challenge. Our focus for the stay was to go hiking around Compatsch, which was down the valley and up the other side. The breakfast was full of pastries, cookies, and cold meats/cheese. "Built in the 1500’s this place has been modernized for comfort. Beautiful remote area. Wonderful staff running the place. Great views! Quaint little bar on the first floor that offers cocktails and meats and cheeses. Very comfortable large king room. There is a library where one can relax and read or play games.Breakfast was very European with eggs cooked to order. Keep in mind there are stairs and no lift to keep the history alive.This place will forever be imbedded in my heart."
