Old Lyme Inn
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful Inn with lots of history. A favorite of ours. Wish their had been breakfast available but fresh coffee was out and ready"
"The room was very nice and the staff were all very helpful.
The only small negatives were the TV was mounted at an angle and the bathroom countertops were very low"
"The hotel is lovely. By their own admission the owners have a notice saying excuse us whilst we renovate. The lodge was fine, we didn’t really notice it wanted much done. The car park was plenty, the room was spacious and comfy. Great views out the back. Convenient for the area, we really liked it. "
"We stayed 5 days!
Customer service was great ;)
Housekeeping was great, the cafe in the morning was excellent!
Lounge area if you wanted to go out in the evening they had Pool, Darts, & Karaoke
If you didn't want to go to the Beach, they had a Pool/Gym
Right near the Highway & Route 1
We had a wonderful Stay!!...Will definitely go back!!!
Gave them 5 Stars ;)"
"Really nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice."
