「Good food and nice place」

「It’s impossible to criticize Dromoland Castle and its superior staff! We celebrated our 50th- wedding anniversary here on the exact date of our marriage 50 years ago, when we also stayed here for part of our honeymoon. This nostalgic trip was met with such gracious treatment. The front gate greeted and congratulated us; the check-in staff in the lobby did the same. Our room was beyond our expectations (and also much improved over the 50 years)! We were upgraded to a beautiful corner room in one...

「The hotel staff was so kind, upgraded our room. We had the corner suite overlooking the beautiful Shannon River. Two white swans live right by our room. Also, the restaurant chef cooks amazing beef short ribs. The breakfast was one of the best in Ireland」

「Loved that we were so close to Bunratty castle. We walked and there were lots of families out and about and it felt extremely safe. The owner of the property was very nice and obliging. The rooms and hotel had a lot of cottage charm. Breakfast was lovely. The owner himself served made us breakfast, having our table set up and ready for our party at the time requested. Very nice.」

「Lovely stay. The host and her staff were welcoming, helpful and pleasant. The views from the home were beautiful. The family suite was very comfortable for my husband and two teens. The hospitality was 5star! Delicious cocktails when we arrived and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip. Definitely recommend this property. 」

「A full pool, hot tub, sauna, work out area was fantastic. The local community uses it too which is so sweet. The onsite dining is lovely.It has a small menu which is done well. The room was large and had both a shower and a tub. It is nice to stay out of the big tourist area, but still have access by car.」

「fabulous gem of a hotel in Limerick city, beds were super comfy & room was very quite, we availed of their late check out offer for €20 which left us sleep in until 1 p.m. check out which was brillilant. Also had bar food there & it was lovely. Staff were very friendly too.」
