While there might not be top attractions in Dromoland, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club and Quin Abbey.
The grounds and the Castle are beautiful. Strongly suggest staying a minimum of 2 full days to get the full experience. Breakfast and Dinners were amazing. Casual bar area with live music in a room fit for a King.

The suites are perfectly set up for families with a lovely little kitchenette and great size room. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Enjoy a round of golf in Newmarket on Fergus at Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club. Check out the lively bars or top-notch restaurants in this quaint area.
If you like horse riding there are many stables that offer a wide variety of choices...just have to pray for good weather...did not get to go to a HURLING GAME.... maybe next time. DUBLIN is like any BIG City...interesting, congested and no parking
