「We had stayed here last November also and you can tell the difference with the new owners. Everything is shaping up nicely. New carpet and everything was spotless. They have a nice breakfast available also. Plan on staying here often as we have a new grandson in the area.」

「This used to be a beautiful resort. It so rundown and creepy now it's sad to see. I would not recommend staying here. Within an hour of being there I turned in my keys and stayed somewhere else. Based off of other reviews it sounds like I'm out the money for the rest of the nights I had reserved even though they have a 24 hour cancellation policy.」

「This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. 」
