「We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. 「An absolute gem of a property - from rooms, bar, dining room and staff. Wonderful breakfasts prepared each morning. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a dinner there as well. Chef is very talented! The views of boats in the bay and the shoreline of Oban are spectacular from this property. Highly recommend.」

「Wonderful place to stay!! Luckily we were able to get the last room last minute and it truly was great. Beautiful views, bathroom is amazing, and very clean. Staff was very kind!」

「The bed and floor were clean and we were only using it to sleep to be fair but the join under the sink kept soaking the floor and the kettle looked mouldy inside so we never got a cuppa. Also you can't share the room key link so my vaping partner had to keep borrowing my phone to go outside. Still was never supposed to be a room to hang out in properly I guess.」

「The stumbling block for this hotel is they have no parking, but there is long term public parking for $7.50 within a 3 minute walk. The hotel is what you would expect for a 4 star hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, good amenities, professional helpful staff and an excellent breakfast.」
