"The hotel was very nice as were the staff. As in many cities there is a significant homeless population close to the hotel. We have no difficulty, we were not bothered, it’s just sad to witness. Powell Books is a stones throw away, we had a few (4-5) blocks to walk for a meal. We wanted to watch play off hockey (Canadians!!) and we had no problem finding bars with TV’s. Staff in all areas we were gave great friendly service. All and all good city, very decent hotel. "

"It has an Ecco theme. As you walk down the hallways, they have birds chirping. Very nice and helpful staff. Beautiful wood and artwork everywhere. A great gift shop and Hudson’s bar and restaurant- the best dinner we have ever had, walnut crusted warm Brie cheese, Berry Salad with mozarella mixed with cream and lots of berries on top, and excellent crab cakes. We LOVED this hotel!!!!"

"This is the concert hotel for us! Moda Center just a few blocks away which makes it easy. Wish they wouldn't crush you on parking fees if you're staying there in the hotel. Only other downside is no microwaves in the rooms. Other than that its great! Clean rooms and friendly staff. "

"We love Ace Hotel! Really nice people at front desk. PDX has seen better times (COVID and Trump’s invasion didn’t help.) But, it’s still one of favorite places to visit. "My family and I enjoyed the hotel. The kids said the pool was a bit chilly but still fun. The only complaint we had was that the food we got delivered from room service was not that good. We order fries and garlic bread. They both came lukewarm at best and a bit soggy like they had been sitting for a while. The staff was amazing and the room was nice as well. "
