「Wonderful stay」

「Clean and quiet. Good location, just opposite to the train station and 15 min walk to the Rochester high street. Room is newly furnished and comfortable.」

「Pros: recently decorated room, comfortable firm bed, clean white cotton bedding, reasonably quiet, great view of river, free and plentiful continental breakfast with cereals, muffin/croissant, toast with jam & cheese, yoghurts, pleasant and helpful staff. Cons: room needed more detailed cleaning, shower head was stuck in holder and hard to adjust, skimpy tea & coffee in room & no decaf coffee, TV subject to atmospheric interference and channel hopping a challenge (maybe new batteries in hand set...

「Room was clean and whilst the bed was very firm I slept well. Breakfast was a delight and the staff very helpful.」

「What a lovely room. A bed you could sink into, even though my husband prefers a firmer bed I thought it was great. Loved the Character of the place so much history. Menu looked good but unfortunately we weren’t there to eat an evening meal. Ooh! but having stayed in many hotels this had the best and most perfectly cooked English Breakfast I have ever had. Even better than mine and that’s saying something. Staff were very friendly and I would be very happy to recommend anyone to stay here.」

「The staff and the food were excellent and without fault. The rooms are similar to other Best Western hotels I've stayed in, in so much as they are a little dated, however the venue was quiet and I had a good nights sleep.」

「The room has no lock on the door; locks are only available outside the two rooms. There are many flies in the hallway, and they are appearing throughout the rooms. There is a lot of dust everywhere. In addition, although we were given the Wi‑Fi password, we’re unable to connect.」
