「on arrival we request more pillows as there was only 3 in a family room hours later returned to ask again no pillows turnt up , one of the beds had a big dip in the bed , there was cracks in the wall , breakfast was terrible no cooked couldnt call it continental there was cereal with gone off milk toast & choice of 2 muffins , tea & coffee, all in all over priced & will not say here again 」

This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. 」

「OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved.
