「The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. It was hot outside so the air conditioning was very welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The only thing to be aware of is that if you have a car the Pomme D'Or does not have its own car park. You have to use the car park of a sister hotel which is a 16 minute walk away.」

「A marvellous chateau style hotel. Loved walking into the place with its great staircase. A bit of a distance from the the coast although a shuttle bus is provided. Good food and helpful staff….could change the menu a bit more often. Bedrooms were clean, spacious and well maintained.」

Müsli war okay. Baked Beans, Rührei und Würstchen und Schinken. Jeden Tag das gleiche Frühstück. Enttäuschend. Essen im Restaurant war gut. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war sehr schön.」

「The staff are all very cheerful, the food was excellent and our room was sparkling clean. The location is good. We walked into town most days and used the local buses. There’s a stop right outside the hotel.」

The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it.
