"Great central location with a Starbucks across the street. Perfect for business trip and family trip as well. Very close to the aquarium. Wonderful staff. We forgot our laptop with movies on it on checkout and the front desk staff were extremely helpful and looking for it. When they couldn't find it in the room, they said that we were welcome to look for it. We eventually did find it. Really great service and very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Breakfast was the only consolation. I think we were given a room that's not ready to operate yet. So, a terrible experience specially with my wife having to use their stairs to the 3rd floor - the said only that room was available - that is after we arrived at a timely check-in. Then we saw I believe late-arriving customers given a lower-level room. So that maybe the last time I had to deal with this inn. :("

"Originally booked as a 2-night stay. We were so relaxed there that I booked an extra night! The staff is very friendly, and the room was in spotless condition when we arrived our first night. We opted-out for housekeeping, so nothing to review there. We felt the room was offered for a very fair price, especially since it was Easter weekend in (basically) Monterey."

"The room was pleasantly nice. I didn't know what to expect exactly from a Motel 6. Nice big beds, good rest, 3 people with 2 large beds. Clean and good deal in 2026 for about $90 per night. Free coffee in the morning in the office."

"Location is good, just right next to a market. All is good but if you expect the room to be air conditioned this is not. However, it’s close to the ocean so you probably don’t need an air conditioning."
