Top Church of St. Stephen Hotel Reviews
Il Malaspina
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel in a great location in Florence. Walking distance to all attractions as well as a local laundromat. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and full of great recommendations. One receptionist even called a restaurant to make a booking for dinner whilst we checked into our room. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast selection was great."

"Très belle Hotel bien localisé! Il y a aussi une belle piscine"
The Social Hub Florence Belfiore
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were amazing—very friendly and helpful. We arrived late, so we had to do a self check-in, but it wasn’t bad at all. There was someone available to give us directions and help us figure everything out. Our rooms were located in the building next to the main lobby, so it took us a little while at first to figure out the entrance and exit, but overall it wasn’t a problem. Menchetti, located right in the hotel lobby, is a really nice place for food, coffee, and drinks. You can get regular American-style drip coffee there, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice, which was a nice bonus. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our experience."
Living Place Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was a great base for a weekend break in Italy. I was a little worried after realising it wasn't in the city centre but we had a hire car so it wasn't an issue. We also got a taxi to Bologna and back on an evening, which was around €27 each way. There were also some lovely pizza restaurants that we visited in nearby Catenaso. The room was a decent size and we had a pool view. It was clean and housekeeping came in daily to make the beds and quick tidy. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety including vegan and GF. The pool was great, there was a charge for sunbeds but plenty of other seating that was free near to the bar if you don't want to pay. Staff were friendly. It was a nice hotel in a good location."
Hotel Caravaggio
10/10 Excellent
"Very well located, walking distance from the main places to visit and the tram station that goes to the airport. The bathroom is very small and the shower has little water pressure, so if you are tall or big, you will struggle, it also needs some maintenance (signs of age and deterioration), but the room was comfortable, clean and with a good AC unit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was there for a total of 3 days with my teenager kids and wife so clearly family oriented."
Hotel Orto de’ Medici
8/10 Good
"This hotel was close to everything which made it the perfect local to visit all the tourist attractions and close enough to walk to the Firenze Termini. The staff was welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. The room was large and the amenities plentiful. I would definitely stay again."
Plus Florence - Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"I loved it here. The people are great. The roommates really made the horrible first two weeks bearable. The last three days I had the best time. They took care of me when I was sick. They made sure I was okay. The staff helped me print. Clean, large lockable cabinets. Comfortable."
Hotel La Fortezza
10/10 Excellent
"Great experience and the staff was very friendly."
Ruby Bea Hotel Florence
10/10 Excellent
"Incredibly beautiful and well maintained hotel. We loved the vibe and our room was spacious, clean and very well lit! The 1 small critique we had was our water couldn’t get very cold, but that is a very minor detail in an overall exceptional stay. The bar had great happy hour deals and all the staff were super friendly. A bit out of the way but if you don’t mind walking, it’s really nice to be slightly removed from the craziness of the city centre. I would absolutely stay again and hope to get the opportunity to visit Ruby Bea’s other properties one day!"
