「Very friendly host, dinner in their restaurant excellent. Can tell food is made from scratch. Lovely flavours, both the slow cooked beef brisket and the chicken curry. Room was immaculately clean, nice thick towels and soft bedlinen. I have managed branded and non-branded hotels so can tell when a room is clean. 」

「Good location near shopping mall and market. The room was spacious and comfortable but we needed to climb up the stairs with our heavy luggage. Dinner was delicious.」

「We enjoyed our stay at The Thames Head. Convenient location with just a short drive to Cirencester. Also close to Tetbury and Minchinhampton. Our room was very clean and spacious. The staff were wonderful and food excellent. 」

「I was In the old part and it needs updating badly. Excited when I saw a spa bath in my room but bath was worn around the plug area and not appealing so wasted. Toilet was stained with brown as old. Taps on sink worn and spun round a lot before water came out. 」

「There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. 」
