「Stayed in Dawson House Lodge on our way to Portland from Crater Lake. Close to the north entrance of Crater Lake. A historical motel with good maintenance. Helpful staff. Provide free coffee. The Mexican food truck accords the street is amazing!」

「Check in was easy. Staff was was super friendly. We loved the convenience of having a kitchen. The bed was super comfy. The room was huge! We didn't use the pool but we saw other families using it and it looked clean and inviting. We ate at the restaurant on the property and it was delicious. The staff there were so nice. The downtown area was very cute. 」

「Location wasn’t as convenient to much (older area it looked) but across from fairgrounds. Older but nicely maintained outside. Rooms were recently renovation, large and comfortable & nice. Great outdoor pool area and fitness area. Breakfast was better than expected and kid friendly.」

「This is the best place to stay if you go to the Crater Lake. Only 45mins drive and you can reach the lake. But cheaper than to stay in the lodge and have many good restaurants.」

「The owner (or manager?) was very nice and welcoming. He immediately replaced broken microwave oven, no questions asked, and let us move in 1 hour earlier. The room had all necessary amenities, not to mention full kitchen with even some utensils. The only complaint was the mattress - I felt the slightest movements of my wife which was quite disturbing. 」
