"The resort was absolutely lovely. The staff was very pleasant. We got to know one waiter in particular, Rodrigo. He looked out for us, bringing waters to make sure we were hydrated, checking on us often. The resort did forget our amenity and it was too late to get it when we asked for it so be sure to ask the first day if it’s not there."

"Overall, very good experience. The area and swimming pools were well maintained. Staff were friendly. As we went during an off period there was no buffet available for lunch as well as dinner. The only options for dinner were the grill, an Italian restaurant and a French restaurant. The French restaurant does not allow children so that made it difficult for us. The wait times for the other restaurants were very long. overall great experience, but food options were lacking compared to other all-inclusive hotels."

"This was an amazing property. I wish I had known that we couldn’t swim in the ocean at the resort due to the rip currents and extreme waves prior to making our reservation. We were able to go to the public beach (definitely recommend) it was just a short uber ride away and we were able to swim with all the fish. We had a great time regardless of that. The food was good compared to the all inclusive we stayed at last yr in Cancun"

"Man man man!! This was our first family trip. Me, my wife and our extremely picky eating 3 yr old. They went to the extreme with making sure all of our food requests were fulfilled! And we sure did have a lot of them! Wow! The service was exceptional! We stayed at the very top floor w ocean views! Every single box checked off! If I had to nitpick at anything, it would easily be the food. Velas10 was great and of course the breakfast buffet was great too. The other restaurants they went too “culinary” serving these tiny portion dishes, that was a downside for us!"

"GREAT Property and AMAZING STAFF. However, I do have to note two things that give me pause on going back there (at least when it is super hot). 1) The beach is rough and not great to swim in. Now, bear with me, this is only important because of point 2) the pool is a bathtub. The water was so hot by the end of the day it was almost uncomfortable. NOW, again, this is literally the only downside to this, frankly, amazing resort but I have to make it known to other travelers. To the resort itself if it reads this, I would recommend either a chiller of some sort for the water; it’s Mexico, I get it, it won’t be cold but when I was considering not getting back into the water because it was so warm, it needs to have a bit of a chill in it. Or I think having a little shade over it (maybe a palapa in the middle of the adult pool) where you could sit in the water in shade would be nice. AGAIN FOR THE RECORD, I recommend this place but, if you want to be in a refreshingly cold pool during your stay, I have to be honest and say that this isn’t it."
