「Matera is not the easiest place to get to in first place. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change plans and arrived by coach bus instead of rental car. The hotel contacted us a couple days before our check in and once they learned about our change if plans, they helpfully pointed out to us that our bus station is actually quite a bit of distance from the hotel. They then booked a taxi for us that waited at the bus station and took us straight into the restricted area inside the old...

The hotel is in a great part of town and close to many cafes and restaurants. Only wish the suite offered a shower and the ac was a little better but we really enjoyed our stay.」
