「Giuseppe was very kind and attentive when he welcomed us. He showed us all the amenities of the resort and explained what the farm produces and all the products that come from it, which are 100% organic: olive oil, jams, honey, etc. It was fascinating!」

「Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. The rooms were very clean and cool, nice swimming pool, though we didn't use it much, but the breakfast could have been a bit more consistent. If you're they type to just...

「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」
