The property was poorly maintained with dirty walls, carpet as well as lift. First time I had bad experience with extended stay hotel. The keycard also did not work few times and had to reset (the lift was unusually slow at night when I had to go visit office to recheck the card). ON top of that it said breakfast available, but the only option was muffin and a bar.

I had one bad experience after another. Day 1 TV/remote didn't work & the stove was not functioning right at 1st. The refrigerator kept defrosting every other day leaking lot's of water on my groceries in the refrigerator. My room door key kept deactivating. I experience to much negativity for the cost I paid for 7 days. Sincerely UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

Room was equipped with the minimum. Some of the walls were damaged. Thought it was overpriced for the few amenities it has. Included breakfast was limited to oatmeal and snack bars. Free parking was good but probably not worth the slightly abandoned state of the room for a long stay.

This is one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a very long time with a hotel. It was dirty. The carpet looked like it had been outside, the furniture inside the room was old and beat up the room had a foul smell to it.

Extended Stay located in the Chicago Midway Airport area is a dirty smelly place. I had to look at 3 rooms and each room was more filthy than the one before. Groups of people were hanging out in the front of the establishment smoking and drinking and talking loud. The hallway smelled like marijuana and some other nasty smell. I had to call Expedia to get me out of there because the pictures on the Expedia site was not the reality when I arrived. I did not feel safe with the people traffic hanging around the facility. Expedia was able to get the hotel to cancel my stay so I can find a cleaner and safe place. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone especially if you are traveling for business and you prefer a cleaner and quiet environment.

My room was clean as well as the bedding. The furniture is a bit out dated, with small holes and cracks. However, I only stayed one night, and as mentioned my room was clean. The staff was helpful and kind. I would stay there again.

Very Disappointing Stay – Poor Amenities and Electricity Issue Our stay at Extended Stay America was extremely disappointing. We specifically chose this hotel because we expected a proper kitchen setup with decent-quality dishes and utensils. Unfortunately, the dishes provided were extremely poor quality and did not meet reasonable expectations for a hotel that promotes kitchen-equipped rooms. To make matters worse, the electricity tripped for some time during our stay, which caused significant inconvenience. We were even forced to manage without proper lighting while bathing, which was both uncomfortable and unacceptable. Overall, the experience was far below what we expected. The kitchen setup needs serious improvement, and basic facilities such as reliable electricity should be a given. I would not recommend this property based on our experience.
