Stayed in Better, Stayed in worse.
A quite new hotel located near the river and walking distance to Galare Night Market and Thapae road. The room is decent for its star rating. Breakfast was not available due to lack of guests because of Covid 19 disruptions. There is car space available, No lift for the elderly and disabled. No frills well priced hotel. Nice pool. Will consider staying again because of location.

Can recommend the ratana hotel
Very good location, very close to night market and old Town . Acceptable breakfast, but have to tell time to time to fill up the empty serving plates. I truly enjoy my stay at this hotel and will recommend it

No frills decent hotel
Decent budget hotel. Small pool that never looked used. lol. Felt more 3/5 stars than 3.5/5. Paid $40 a night when in retrospect was average maybe expensive for small room but it was right before Loy Krathong. Very close to central area of city so could walk places. Super close to a “night market” open food court area. Also close to the gay strip and red light district. Closest good food is an Islamic Khao Soi place and then open air food court at night. Chiang Mai has no taxis unlike Bangkok but has Grab. Grabs take 7 mins but most people take Tuk Tuks since the main downtown is fairly small. You must, you must negotiate as they always start with a double the price rate.

There are no elevator, only stairs and I was on the top floor. The room was very average even though they said they gave me the best room. No hot water for showers and was also on a very busy street and traffic noise was loud. Breakfast was acceptable. Was walking distance to most of markets and restaurants

Good value for the price
For the price that was offered for my 2 night stay, it was a great deal. It is just a five-minute walk from the Night Bazaar and 10-15 mins from the old city. There was a bit of construction going on inside the hotel, so it was a little noisy. If you are looking for a place to keep your things and rest because you will be out all day, this is the perfect place.

Good location
The location of hotel is good with easy short walk to night bazzar or riverside. Room and bathroim suze is quite ok. The bed is comfortable and breakfast, though is limited in choices, the Thai dish daily is tasty. However cleaning daily is not satisfactory. The bath mat was dirty even on 1st day and did not seem to be changed. There is no lift in the premises. So living on ground floor was easier for elderly but felt insecure as there are entries into G/F rooms from the side street without passing through the lobby, though there may be a security guard from time to time around there. Overall not a bad hotel if more attention paid to cleanness.

Value for money
A good budget accommodation with a nice breakfast included. We choose the cheapest room so the windows opened into a light well with no view, but fine for us. Quiet, clean and comfortable is all that matters when booking a budget stay.

Very good clean mid size hotel
This is a mid size hotel with modern, comfortable, clean rooms, located near the night bazaar, the old town and the night life... Breakfast buffet is ok if you need to leave early for a trip somewhere. Staff is kind and great you with a smile. I really enjoyed my stay... Would come back again...

Staff were not friendly, and don’t speak English. I had to use google translate to ask them simple things. Some of them were not mean, just not friendly and some were rude. Room is small but clean. Theres no elevator and 3 floors, the cheapest rooms are on the 3rd floor. The WiFi was pretty good most of the time and there is a safe in the rooms. Mine was broken and would not stop beeping for 10 minutes until someone came up to fix it. Breakfast is pretty much toast and eggs, there are not many options so I wouldn’t recommend getting breakfast here. The pool is small but probably good just to cool down. All in all, it’s not bad for the price. I stayed in the empress right before and this was a huge downgrade. But if you’re looking for a clean cheap place and are not expecting anything more than a bed to sleep in then this is ok.

Budget hotel not far from night bazaar
A budget hotel not far from the night bazaar and several restaurants and bars. Hotel was worth the price (low season) and the staff was always helpful. My only complaint is they always cut breakfast off early, either turned off the warmers or ran out of food and didn’t replenish. Defeats the purpose of paying extra to have breakfast included.

Excellent Budget Hotel
I stayed here for 5 nights. I got an excellent price with buffet breakfast included which the food was pretty good!. My room was very clean with all the necessary mod cons. This hotel also had a descent pool with an outdoor shower, which no one seemed to use. The place was so clean, that when I walked down the titled hall way with no shoes on, there was no dirt on my feet! Nice and close walking distance to Night Bazaar markets. The bed is extremely firm! Rock hard really. Like sleeping on concrete on top of 2 inches of a foam mattress. The staff could be a bit more friendly though, especially the security guard. I always felt like he was giving me filthy looks. And some staff members wouldn't even acknowledge me and would just avoid eye contact, which made me feel uncomfortable at times. The hotel quoted me 350 baht for collection from the airport. A Grab or red taxi would have costed me 175 baht. One day I asked reception to call me a cab, she kept telling me to sit down, like a dog giving me commands, which I did not appreciate. Then she was scrolling trough her phone for phone numbers of people they know to drive me. Thats when I realised, that they call their friends to charge us foreigners more to drive us in their own personal car! I was far from impressed when I saw this and figured it out! In Thailand they have Grab which is our version of Uber. This was the cheapest way around in Thailand. Beside this, everything else was great and I would highly recommend.

בכללי החדר נראה סבבה ומטייטה גדולה וטובה אבל אין מעלית וצריך לעלות לבד עם המזוודות. בנוסף לחדר אין נוף לכלום וגם לא אוויר כי החלון נפתח למסדרון סגור ומולו חדר נוסף. לא אכלנו במלון והבריכה לא הכי שימושית. נמצא כ5 דק מהמרכז אבל קרוב למסגד ואזור של ערבים. כספת מאוד קטנה לא ניתן להכניס מיני לפטופ. שברנו בטעות כוס פשוטה וחייבו אותנו ביציאה ב150 באט שווי ל15 שח על הכוס. מחיר יקר מאוד ביחס לתאילנד וגם חוצפה לבקש אחרי ששיהנו במלון 4 לילות.בקיצור לא נחזור בגלל הקטע שעשו עם הכוס. ממש לא שירותי ולא לעניין. עלות ללילה כ590 באט לא בעונה.

very good for this price
its very good for the price and most of the day we travel outside its only for sleep and take a shower. Cons: No view, no elevator to rooms but there is a total of up to 2 floors and no refrigerator, very small safe, can not insert a small computer. \ Advantages: A really huge and comfortable bed, a very clean room and looks good with all the basic things you need. There is a nice pool and there is always a guard and someone at reception to talk to. They do not always know how to help but are very trying. Close to 3 minutes from the night market. In short it highly recommends because of the price.

Stayed here because my friend asked for a more budget friendly place to stay. The first night my shower leaked a quarter inch of water on the floor. So bad that they moved me across the hall. I went from a king to a single bed. The shower in the second room had black mold all over the room. The pool was drained and full of junk. Did not like the provided breakfast. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is very well located, just 1 block from the night bazaar and a few blocks from thapae gate and the old town. The rooms are clean and comfortable, no fridge though. I would be remiss if I didn't mention what seems to me as a lack of security with the way they let all the room keys in a basket on the front desk often left unattended and guests pick their own key out of the basket. So everybody has access to your room key while you are away... I did mention it, but nothing was done to correct the situation. You be the judge. And the breakfast is somewhat regular.

A few complaints
A few complaints. Breakfast, quoted at Bht 100 on the site, was Bht 250 and mainly Thai style. Only fried eggs and toast, and cereal available. There is a much better place over the road. Parking is a problem as the hotel has very limited spaces. We were told to park on the main road opposite. Fine for Sunday morning, but got clamped on Monday, BBht 400 fine with a bus trip to the police station. The staff did not warn us of this, or that there was a car park next door at Bht 20 a day. There was no fridge in the room, although the site did not say that there was, so OK. Bed and linen were clean and comfortable but they will not service your room unless you put the sticker hanging on your door. It was OK for the price.

浴室花灑間漏水,水不夠暖。冷氣機滴水。泳池超細。前台員工態度差,房間沒有衣架,問前台,很不高興,話只可比2个。餐廳員工總是黑口黑面,又惡。

コスパよし、リピートあり。
コスパはいいです、予想以上によい部屋でした。 周辺は割りと静かで、ナイトバザールへは徒歩3分、チェンマイ駅まで歩いても20分かかりません。 ペットボトルの水2本と、インスタントコーヒーがサービスにあります。 部屋は最も安い価格帯の部屋でも広くて、快適でした。 シャワーも水温、水圧問題なし。ただ、カプセルみたいなシャワー室から水が漏れて、 洗面やトイレに行くときに足が濡れることが難点でした。 ドライヤーもあり、助かりました。 スタッフも親切で、荷物あずかりも喜んで対応してくれました。 入ってはないですが、小さなプールもあります。 それなりに清潔感のある感じです。 次にチェンマイにいくとしても候補に入れます。

Juste pour dormir...
Hôtel de bonne facture. Les meubles et les installations sont correctes et en bon état. Toutefois, l'hôtel était en travaux, de 9/10h du matin jusqu'en fin d'après midi et cela 7/7 jours. Le personnel de l'hôtel n'est pas très souriant, c'est dommage. Beaucoup de chambres donnent dans la cour intérieure qui est étroite et couverte. Vous ne verrez pas le soleil de votre séjour. La propreté est peut être mitigée car je me suis retrouvé avec un cafard aussi gros que mon pouce. Aucune aide de la réception a part une bombe anti insecte inefficace. Pour être resté 10 jours, je ne recommande pas cet hôtel pour y passer du temps et vous reposer. Pour y dormir quelques nuits sans passer du temps à l'interieur, c'est OK. L'hôtel est proche du night Market avec tous ses avantages pour manger et voir quelques concerts.
