Nice hotel. Would use it again

Reception was pleasant abd answered all my questions. The room i stayed in was large and comfortable. It is well located. I didn't have time to use the pool but it looked nice.

Nice hotel with a great location that’s convenient for shopping and restaurants. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are a little small based on US standards. However overall the rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable.

First time staying at POR and definitely returning. All of the staff were friendly, they provided service with ease. In particular; Daniel, Kuku, and Ema went above and beyond to give us extra assistance with planning and organizing our itineraries, always with a warm and friendly disposition.

Great location tucked away on Sunday Shopping Market street. It was amazing to watch the small street turn into a large shopping, food and entertainment center in hours and gone the next morning. After a 6 night stay we did not want to leave. So very clean and comfortable and in a great position to explore the city. All staff are a credit to the hotel and are interested in finding out what you got up to during the day. Breakfast was top notch. We love staying at this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed here and we look forward to staying here again in the future. It’s in a good location centrally within Chiang Mai and is tucked away from the Main Street. The rooms have a good layout and the showers have good water pressure.

Fantastic hotel, very clean and tidy. Great breakfast buffet each morning that staff were happy to start a little earlier if you were up and out early in the morning. It was an excellent stay because of the staff, all the staff working were genuinely wanting to make your stay the best it could be. They were kind, thoughtful but not intrusive. The bed was a bit hard for my liking however I would recommend and come back to stay time and time again because of the service we received.

AMAZING STAY

This might be the best hotel experience of my entire life. Every day we had wonderful breakfast with a variety of delicious foods (both western and Thai). There’s access to cold water and fruit all day (amazing!). The pool was clean and refreshing! The staff were lovely, helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, the A/C worked well, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had great water pressure.

Great location within Old City of Chiang Mai and is literally one block away from the famous Sunday night market! Room is thoughtfully designed and made the most use of space and the bed is very comfortable. The hotel provides free filtered water and free fruits throughout the day. Oh and don’t get me started on wonderful, home-cooked and changing breakfasts every morning with wonderful staff! What else could you ask for? Highly recommended and if I’m back in Chiang Mai, I will definitely stay with POR Thapae again!

A very nice environment, staff, rooms, comfortable beds. The breakfast was to die for. I loved the free water, as much as you can eat fruits 24/7. Walkable distance to dining options, Sunday night market right in front of the hotel. Nothing can beat such convenience. Some pple commented about the noise, but I didn't notice or feel disturbed with the night market location. I would definitely lodge in this hotel if I ever came back to Chiang Mai. Now you know why they're always booked out. HANDS DOWN THE BEDT HOTEL IN CHIANG MAI!!!!!!
