Loved my stay at Roaders Hotel Zhonghua! Super friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, and the location is perfect for exploring Taipei. The best part was the common area with free drinks, snacks, and popcorn, plus fun games like pool and basketball machines. Such a cool vibe, I’d definitely come back!

Friendly staff. First time I am in a hotel where the reception is in the basement. And the basement guest area is awesome with free snacks (ramen, egg buns, chips, etc.), games, and armchairs. Our room was small but sufficient for a couple nights. The bathroom had a large shower. Highly recommend the place!

Solo travelers should book here. A/C, wifi, hot shower, excellent walkable location to trains, Ximending, and other top things to do and see. Central location, with quality rooms. Smaller in size, and the no window option is a bit tougher to wake up in the morning than expected but that’s okay. Also free water bottles in a rather large lobby and entertainment area. The qualify for cost is excellent.

Conveniently located at the periphery of Ximending. Walking distance to Taipei Main Station (further) and Ximen Station (nearer). Property is well furnished with free-flow cup noodles and drinks! Room is small but perfectly adequate for the stay. Would recommend!

Budget friendly hostel like hotel

It’s very budget friendly. It’s more like a hostel than a hotel. Snacks are all you can eat but the lounge area is in the basement without windows and lightning. Rooms are also dark and with no windows. Great for young people lodging.

The staff at the front desk were all very cheerful and friendly. I felt quite welcomed there. There was one person in particular, Heidi, who was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and where to shop and she even took the time to map out the route for me. Terrific service!

This a wonderful place to stay at when visiting Taipei. It is located next to a MRT station exit and near Xiamen night market district. You can find places to dine in or to shop at day and night in Xiamen. The MRT Bannon Line will take you to just about any place you want to go in Taipei. The facilities were modern and quiet. The staff is wonderful. They are extremely helpful and that is what makes the stay so comforting. The lobby hang out area is well stocked with snacks and refreshments, just a relaxing place to rest after spending a day in Taipei.
