FairBridge Inn Express Merrillville
Had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. Notified attendant at the front desk, she gladly reset the router and all was well. I have no complaints. This was reasonably priced for a no frills motel.

Spring House Inn
Seems like this was a 5 star destination hotel about 40 years ago. Still nice, but dated. Quiet. Could use a little more TLC, but has a lot of great character.

Best Western Indian Oak
Loved staying here mostly because it is on a lake that is a birding hotspot. The staff is friendly and the rooms are big. Our room had a patio overlooking the lake. Lots of birds. Scenic. Housekeeping was friendly and helpful. They are remodeling so can’t wait to see the new look. Breakfast is OK. ...
