"Staff helpful, room good quality. Food good. But going through refurbishment and it might have been better if that had been disclosed upfront as it meant gym not fully functional and restaurant at dinner cramped so did not eat there. Better at breakfast."

"We had a delightful 3 night stay at The Lamb. The location was perfect for visiting the beautiful villages of the Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room was lovely and spotless, we did appreciate the two big fans in the room as the temperature was top 20’s . Do think the big bathroom would benefit from a few cosmetic additions to make it cosier. Our meal in the evening was first class and very reasonable. I paid extra one morning to have eggs and wild mushrooms on toast and so glad I did , it was delicious. The only negative for me was the garden, lots of bench tables but feel the area on the lawn could have had some comfy seats for residents to sit in the evening . Will definitely stay here again"

"Great location, and staff were very helpful. Excellent secure parking. We enjoyed breakfast - the porridge and cinnamon toast were excellent. The menu offered a wide choice. Bed was comfy, but we were there in a hot spell of weather, and there was no air con in the room. The fan in the room did help a little, but it was still very warm for sleeping. The room could have been cleaner however. We had a room which had a bath, shower and vanity unit in the bedroom with a separate toilet. The edges of the floor of the toilet were not clean, and the top of the skirting was laden with dust."

"Outstanding staff with great personalities throughout the hotel. Willing to help and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Collectively, probably the best hotel staff I have had the pleasure to meet. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. Had a lovely swim and used the steam room, that was enjoyable. Enjoyed our 2 course meal and after dinner drinks. The only downside is the continuation of the franchise to charge for parking. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Have stayed in its sister hotel in Wolvercote and this was the reason I booked for our group of 4, as that was a great experience also. I recommend both hotels and woukd definitely stay again."

"Our second trip to lords of the manor and the Atrium - it does not disappoint The staff are so friendly and helpful, bedrooms are well equipped with comfortable mattresses and pillows Our room had a recently refurbished bathroom which was beautiful and the room was lovely and cool which was a relief! If you like good food, the atrium is just the best. That Michelin star must be on its way! The food is a delight and the wine pairing is perfect"
