The property is a meticulously maintained 17th century royal estate, with horses and llamas and owls and giant sequoia trees and beaucoup French country charm! Every morning we were greeted with fresh bread from an award winning bakery, an assortment of homemade jams, hot coffee, orange juice, perfectly ripe fruit and a variety of French cheeses. Chateau de Royal, Clos Luce and the center of historic Amboise are within walking distance. If you are planning a trip to Amboise, you MUST stay here. If you are not planning a trip to Amboise, go ahead and plan one now."
