Beautiful place with amazing hosts

We had a fantastic stay here. The chateau and gardens are beautiful, James & Cecile are gracious hosts, and the location is very convenient for wine and chateau visits.

A place that was so comfortable and our hosts James and Celine were very friendly and hospitable. Our room was gorgeous with all the amenities breakfast included had homemade yogurt fruit jams meat and cheese and bread and cakes. Wonderful. Highly recommend

Le Clos du Roc - OUI!!!

Le Clos du Roc is a wonderful escape from the typical busy vacation accommodation. We had an amazing visit and the couple who are the owners & hosts are lovely! We definitely look forward to another visit and strongly recommend a visit in the Tours or Montlouis area.

The hotel is in beautiful surroundings with lovely spacious rooms, super continental French breakfast. The location is far from city of Tours, needing a car to get there or relying on bus with irregular schedules. Then it’s 20 min walk to access bus or train. The property was picturesque from the delicious breakfast in the courtyard to a glass of wine looking at the Loire River. Large comfortable rooms, easy parking, convenient to Amboise and Tours. I was traveling with my 21 yo son and we were both sad to leave!

Remarkably old and majestic trees graced the garden and an intimate feeling prevailed. The inn felt like home with a flair for the cozy as well as the elegant. Maya, the family dog, was pure joy, greeting us and leading us to the door.

We stayed here to visit the small where my ancestors were from. The Chateau was very charming and comfortable. James and Celine were wonderful hosts and so helpful- our trains were inconvenient and James kindly gave us a ride to the town and next train station. The breakfast was very good. The town of Montlouis itself is very small with not much to see but James reccomended nearby Ambois has castles and many things see and do.

Extraordinary B&B with wonderful service and exquisite location! Your hosts are welcoming and kind. The house itself and the property are so beautiful that I sat in the yard for at least an hour taking in the scenery and ambiance. You are centrally located to be able to get to chateaus across the Loire valley - 15-20 minutes to Chenonceau, 20-25 minutes to Amboise, it’s all very nearby. While restaurants near Le Clos Du Roc are limited, the B&B offers a very nice menu of food and drink options, and the breakfast is the best we’ve had so far in France with homemade jam, fresh fruit and yogurt.

Very nice overall experiences, every detail is well thought of. Excellent breakfast especially their home made jam and yogurt. Limited dining options but we tried two restaurants nearby and they both exceed our expectations. Remember to reserve tables as they can go quickly especially during school holidays. Hugh recommend!

An acquisite sensational experience. The villa is really elegant and incredible trees are included in its park.Breakfast has a number of exquisite fresh and dry fruits and handmade high quality cakes. Our large room with Loire view is very comfortable ! Wonderful!
