The staff is very friendly, the food is good and the location can't be beat. You will be able to enjoy modern amenities while still immersing yourself in history. I especially enjoyed stepping out of my room in the evening and reading a book on the balcony. Could not recommend this place more."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. "
