Clean rooms, great service, really good breakfast, great staff, and a great floor show. The bar was a fun scene. Dated rooms with funky lighting. One thing to be aware of is that not all rooms have a ski locker associated with the room. Location is great. Easy to get up the hill or to walk to town. We had to ask for a safe to be installed— was done before we finished breakfast—super responsive. Worth the money.

We stayed at La Folie Douce in Chamonix from Thursday to Sunday last week as a family with young children, and we had a great experience. This is clearly a festive hotel, popular with younger guests and couples, but we felt it was also very welcoming to families. Our children had a fantastic time throughout the stay. They loved the game room, which became one of their favorite spots, and we even used the outdoor pool despite the cold weather — the water temperature was perfect and made for a memorable experience. The atmosphere is lively and energetic, yet well managed. Noise was never an issue for us; everything settles down around 10pm, so nights were peaceful and we slept well. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very clean, well maintained, and functional. They accommodated our family comfortably. Service was a highlight. The main desk team was consistently cordial, kind, and proactive, always ready to help with a smile. Food options were also very good. The pizza at the outdoor restaurant was excellent and a big hit with the family. We also dined at Le Petit and ordered pasta — the quality of the food was outstanding. We didn’t use the spa this time, but from what we saw it looks high quality and well designed. Overall, a vibrant and fun hotel that manages to balance a party atmosphere with a family-friendly environment. We would definitely return.

The location was fantastic, very central. Great entertainment. Breakfast was fantastic but other food options were limited. We were close to external restaurants but we were tired and cold and would’ve liked more healthier options at the hotel. The heating didn’t work in our room, service did come and attempt to fix it, we thought it was fixed but it wasn’t, it was very cold.

The most amazing hotel. Surroundings are just perfect and there is that little bit of quirkiness! Check-in was faultless. Six girls in adjoining rooms. Rooms was absolutely fine. Love the style of the bunk beds. Hotel itself is just perfect. Lovely pool, very close to town and evenings in the bar area are fantastic. Breakfast was really good too - loads of variety. The lady at the front desk was very helpfully All the rooms were very clean the food and the buffet was very nice. I do like the decor of the hotel. However, the gym was a little on the dark side.
