「Breakfast is advertised as being available from 7. As we had a plane to catch we were keen to get it early. But hot food was not out until 7.15, fruit juice not until 7.20 and there was initially no bread to toast (just crumpets and muffins) and no butter. If breakfast is advertised from 7, everything should be available from 7, not 20 minutes later. very poor effort.」

「The room was in adequate no hooks in bathroom Mattress was had added layer of sponge on top to form it Did not do the job instead I felt I was going to fall off It was very uncomfortable Very grumpy manager did not want to hear about my complaint」

「The hotel is a home from home with a luxury spa, Lovely staff and excellent food, it’s definitely worth the money. Lovely friendly atmosphere, gorgeous grounds and fabulous staff, I wish I could have stayed longer.」

「There was a golden wedding lunch party on the Saturday I stayed and one couple brought their dog which constantly yapped all afternoon when they left it outside in the garden. It did not make for a very relaxing afternoon reading on the terrace.」

「The overall was good, except the safety! There was a guy stalking on my floor. He knocked our door and eavesdropped on us.」

「Loved the location however bathroom very dated. Could not believe given how hot the weather has been it does not have a fridge hence waters provided became warm. Was told people complain about the noise however surely a fridge outway a slight noise.」

「Couldn’t fault the staff who were friendly, efficient and attentive, but I’m afraid my stay was spoiled by the heat of the bedroom. There was a free standing air cooler provided, but this made no real difference. Perhaps the temperature of rooms ought to be monitored if these extreme temperatures are to be more frequent. The room shouldn’t have been available.」

「While the Tiger Inn pub is nicely located by the village inn and the staff were very helpful, the room was over priced for what it was - a nice room in a pub. To describe it as 'luxury' is somewhat misleading in my view. The food was good but nothing special, so again, certainly didnt justify the 'luxury' reference」
