Convenient location, close to the sea. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. Staff helpful. From around 11.00 pm until 3.00 am there was a great deal of noise. Possibly from other residents, or maybe from resident staff. I would want assurances about this before booking again.

Had a nightmare getting to The Wellington & the staff were brilliant. Arrived at quarter to 1 in the morning as I had a blown tyre on motorway & was still accommodated. So happy I chose this place

We where in the two single beds room the beds they where uncomfortably we didn’t get much sleep.If you take your car you will have trouble parking we at to park up by the beach. The staff we’re lovely especially the manger.

It was large, clean and bright, easy to reach from the rail station and bus service 10 min and the city centre. A bit noise because is on the street. Excellent position to start the walk on the cliffs and see the paradisiac Seven Sisters

Loved everything about the Wellington. Staff were all so friendly and helpful . Easy access to the waterfront - I will certainly always recommend to anyone to stay here

Lovely welcoming staff, spacious room with sea view, fab evening meal and veggie breakfast, nothing too much trouble. Super, friendly seaside town with interesting features like museum on the seafront and theatre. Bracing walk on the front before breakfast. Daughter & I loved our stay!

Well, we arrived later than expected on a Thursday night. The welcome was lovely. No food available but not unusual for a Thursday. Two gripes: the duvet is extremely short, whichever way you put it! A child's bed size really. My feet kept becoming uncovered. Weird. The built-in hairdryer did not work, so I had to sleep with wet hair (it's past my shoulders) and this wasn't ideal. We had a 07:30 start next day and there wasn't a soul about, deserted. However, a call to the host had him arrive in 2 minutes for us to collect some items they stored for us. Definitely no chance of an early breakfast. Overall a mixed bag, but we cannot fault the staff who were very helpful. The hotel has no parking but we managed to get parking nearby and we could see the car fortunately. The hotel is really convenient for the Newhaven ferry.

The hotel clearly has seen better days. However, Richard was great welcoming us late at night and showing us to our rooms. Simon, the manager or owner I assume, was very nice as well. The English breakfast was OK, if a bit fatty and the sausages were not that good. Overall, though, you can't beat the location and the price was OK for what e got. Everything was clean and neat.

Landlord very pleasant, nice room, breakfast ok (but it’s an extra). Fair value for money. Seaford is a nice place and convenient for good walks. We were lucky to get a parking spot outside the pub but no onsite parking as expected

Had dinner the night we checked in. Burger was cold, chips tasted like old dirty oil and the onion rings looked like a mess of onion and batter all stuck together in a bowl. Staff didn’t seem to care, did mention it when paying, but they just went silent. Then bed was very uncomfortable. We just sunk into it, if I rolled over felt like I was going to fall out the bed. Very squeaky and the mattress was clearly old, with a seperate yellow layer of foam between top of the mattress and the bed sheet which didn’t fit properly. Won’t be returning to this hotel again.
