「This was the quintessential country inn that you would expect to see in Maine! Front desk staff were friendly, helpful. The rooms were great. They had a larger suite in the hotel and then also had cabins out back. Outside of the breakfast area (which breakfast was great each day), they had a nice patio area with an electric start fire pit and a nice playground for the kiddos. 「I unfortunately had a view of the rear parking lot. It didnt matter much because i felt safe enough to take a long walk around town before bedtime. I slept well on the comfy king bed. Very accessible to docks and town. Several restaurants nearby.」

「The Yabkee Clipper is the perfect, affordable, convenient Lu located place to stay while you take in the beauty of Maine. The rooms are updated with comfy beds and pillows and nice, absorbent towels. Everything is ultra clean and the staff are so nice and responsive. We’ve stayed in much more expensive places while in the area and they have nothing on The Yankee Clipper. The area is quiet and safe as well. You’ll be so glad you gave it a try!」

「The staff at this hotel are exceptional. The hotel rooms are clean, the bed linens soft and unscented detergents appear to be used. Which is a great plus for sensitive individuals. I didn’t partake in breakfast, except for tea, I was impressed with the quantity of food and the large attendance. Parking is more than sufficient and security cameras monitor the area. I would definitely stay here again.」

「The hotel is right on the water & in the heart of town. Friendly & super helpful staff. Wonderful view of the harbor from our room. Nice restaurant with good seafood and excellent service. I left a fanny pack behind after dinner with cash, credit cards, and passport. It was promptly returned, nothing missing. We loved our stay and recommend the Tugboat Inn highly.」

「The room was clean and tidy, and it was very convenient to go to the university and surrounding shops and restaurants. The only regret was that the room was booked the day before, and the price was doubled compared to booking in advance. It is recommended that you book the room in advance, the price is really different.」
