「The hotel was booked for a couple of nights stay, it was a lovely quiet location with the garden beside a brook running through the village. The room was at the back of the hotel was very quiet aswell, the only concern was the shower cubicle was a bit small, but to be fair couldn't be any larger in the room. 「Dick was extremely welcoming and friendly coming out to meet me on arrival and carrying my bag. My accommodation was clean, comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful with excellent service. Would love to come back with my family.」

「Friendly staff, proper country pub vibes but lovely and quiet room that was clean and comfy. Parking was a little confusing as the car park is very small, but road parking is available all around. Shower was a bit low on pressure but a personal preference. Would strongly recommend to anyone visiting the area or heading further south/west as a stop over!」

「Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely.」

「The hotel is located inside the pub. I was one of the attic rooms and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The Sunday roast is well worth it. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. My room was a twin bedroom. It was fine but there was no floor length mirror. The mirror on the dressing table you could manoeuvre but you couldn’t see your full outfit. 「Exceptionally comfortable and large bed, with crisp linen, spacious room, hot and powerful bath and shower, with hand held shower for hair washing, biscuits tea coffee and still and sparkling water changed daily. Tasty evening meal, three courses around £50 with service charge on top, were allocated a room out in the outbuildings, but as the weather was dry this was perfectly acceptable 」
