「Perfect location right in the centre of the old city. The rooms are on the first floor and there is no escalator, so a short climb up with your luggage is unavoidable. We did the check-in on our own and throughout the 2 nights that we stayed there, we haven't sighted any reception staff.」

「This place is a lovely authentic gem. Beds where very comfortable, room was very clean, and the bathroom was recently furbished. The building does not have your typical hotel frontage with fancy foyer as you enter. But dont let that put you off. The reception is on the second floor of this 200 year old building. So if you like charming old building with new upgrades, this place is worth a stay. Bonus points for being centrally located in the heart of Catania and the staff are absolutely lovely. 」

「Siamo stati molto bene, struttura pulita e ospitale in centro città.」

「Great central location for most attractions. For train or bus stations, it takes about 15-20min walk. Luca (host) was easy to reach and gave us information around the area. Only thing to note: the accommodation is on 1st floor without lift, and fewer charging ports that others that we stayed in. But for us is no big deal. 」

「Very easy check in and check out. Host very receptive and easy to communicate with via text. Room simple and clean. Air con worked well, TV and fridge in room. Nice shower. Easy and quick to get to on bus from airport and good location to explore Catania on foot. 」

「We didn’t speak the language but the hosts were very polite and used translation app to communicate. We were greeted in the street and escorted into our accommodation. Our room was lovely and had a view of Mt Etna. Great location. 」

「This place is a real gem and lived up to all the great reviews. Conveniently located, clean, quiet and plenty of space for two people. Large bathroom and private patio. The shared kitchen was great. Anna was extremely helpful with local sites to visit and restaurants. She got us a cab for a 4 am pick up - She was just great. We we definitely stay here again.」
