"What a find this place was. We needed somewhere to stay and shelter from Storm Dave rather than risk the campervan. We were lucky enough to find the family room at the String of Horses. Amazing food in the pub, amazing and super friendly staff, especially the lady who sorted out brownie pieces for my ten year old rather than the Sundae dessert version. The breakfast in the morning, ordered from a menu rather than buffet was delicious with great options. Added bonus was how close the...

"Dianne went out of her way to be helpful at all steps of our stay. Great parking facilities, great shower, comfy bed. Everything needed was provided and well thought through. We were able to arrange to collect the keys early as we were due at a wedding and Dianne went out of her way to help us arrange a taxi booking to and from the venue nearby. Breakfast was varied and plentiful."
